- Miguel Cabrera (DET) -- .378 (14 - 37)
- Miguel Cabrera has recorded a hit in nearly every game this season. Against Bartolo Colon he is 5 of 10, and Colon hasn't beaten the Tigers in nearly 10 years, so I like Cabrera's chances tonight.
- Ian Kinsler (TEX) -- .300 (12 - 40)
- Kinsler faces Iwakuma of the Mariners who he is 4 of 9 (.444) against in the last 5 years. Kinsler has recorded a hit in 6 of his last 10 games.
- Matt Carpenter (STL) -- .400 (14 - 35)
- Carpenter will bat against his old teammate, Kyle Lohse. He has been a pretty solid and consistent hitter for the Cardinals, recording a hit in 6 of his last 10 games.
- Ryan Braun (MIL) -- .500 (9 - 18)
- Braun has recorded at least one hit in every game he's played in so far this season. He has never faced Shelby Miller, but it's almost lunacy to not pick him right now.
